I notice that lately there is a lot of bidding on property where there are liens in favor of the Queen. I am not talking about Crown Corporations or liens with the sheriff, but the most obvious ones that mention the Queen in all her glory along with Canada Revenue Agency or one of her other underlings. I know, I know they are all just as dangerous but several of you seem quite willing to take on the big girl herself. I have been searching for two years to find the perfect one to take a run at the Queen, but damn it, I keep getting outbid! This week I thought that I had finally found a good one - not perfect, but low value, and so obvious that I was sure no one else would tender it. It got 5 tenders and I lost by a mile. I would like the "winner" to PM me so that we can discuss strategy since you are either a genius, or not. You will know who you are since the last 3 crown lien properties that you won were bid at exactly $16,000.00 each. Next year I will again look for the perfect interest of the Queen to bid into a shell company. There is no longer much money to be made in buying the "clean" tax sale properties. You and all those other tax sale junkies buying property with blatant interests of the crown, even property with multiple liens on title, are obviously on to something and I would like to get in on it. A PM to discuss strategy would indeed be appreciated.
