Ottawa tax sales

The City of Ottawa has listed 9 properties for tax sale.  These properties haven't yet been advertised in the Ontario Gazette, but we have them on OntarioTaxSales.ca. 

We have aerial photos of 7 of these properties; 3 photos for each of the 7 properties. 

These aren't Featured Properties, so we don't have tender packages for them.  Tender packages are available from the City of Ottawa, for $36 each.  Also please note that because these aren't Featured Properties, the pictures and listings are only available to OTS members.  If you're not an OTS member you can see the listings on the City of Ottawa website.  Here's a link to the correct page:  http://ottawa.ca/residents/proptaxes/property_sales/tax_sales_en.html

Thanks for the heads-up Jeff.

The sale is on the 21st of April.  They are likely doing their four ads locally, and then with only a week to go will put it into the gazette...any redemptions in the interim will reduce their advertising costs.  Smart Treasurer from that perspective, but short-sighted in terms of attracting more bids, unless your intention is to only attract locals.

Let's keep this our little secret.

Why is Ottawa charging $36 for Info Packs for each property individually ($360 for 10 properties up for sale) ? Is it legitimate and allowed ? OTS only charges $10 for all the properties in the Municipality for tax sale at one time. Its loosing Municipality potential bidders.
