I'm re-posting this question from another member as I am looking for the same information. I'd really appreciate your feedback.
Has anyone here won a bid on a property and found the previous owners occupying the building after the deal had closed? What was your experience like? How can you get them out?

Jtan:
This is a very tricky area and the handling will likely depend on the details. I am familiar with cases ranging from 80 year grandmothers to bikers and potential members of the mafia.
My advice is get professional help and via an experienced paralegal who has extensive landlord and tenant experience and your lawyer.
Needless to say this won't be cheap and that is why you need to make allowance in your bid for some potentially (very
) considerable expenses. Personally this is one area of taxsales I try to avoid.
