Calabogie properties

Does anyone have information on the Calabogie properties they'd be willing to share. I would be interested to watch this sale, but since I have only just found out about the whole world of tax sales will only be watching not participating.
The one lot is listed as "Surface rights only" if it is timber or mining land, does that mean that in 10 years someone could show up in your front yard with a chainsaw or drilling rig?
The other lot is listed as being on Chipmunk Road - but I can't seem to find that road anyplace.
In any case, I'd be interested to hear what folks have to say about these two lots - and info on how to "watch" the sale from Toronto
A side note - these caught my interest because my Grandfather used to Hunt & Fish in Calabogie, and we would always be drawn into the stories of his adventures up there.

I had a quick chat with the town in Calabogie - it turns out there is a lot of interest in these properties. One of them is only 0.17 of an acre though, and the other is supposed to be quite steeply sloped.
Apparently the surface rights statement is there because there are a number of defunct mines in the area. There is a chance that someone could be mining under you at some point, but right now they aren't aware of any mining activity in the area of the properties.
The lots are in developed areas - there are neighbours and not tucked away deep in the wilderness.
Although I am not bidding in this sale, I hope this info will help someone!

If you look at Calabogie on any mapping service, Chipmunk is near Clyde lake, which is south of Calabogie. I believe this is my first posting: do you have to re-login every time you read a different forum subject? I had to do so to get the "reply button to show. It's also difficult to not have the posting youy are replying to in front of youwhen replying, so you have to remember everything you wanted to say. so I almost forgot to say that the Chipmunk property probably has a house of some sort on it, as it has a street address.

According to the town - one of the properties has a shack on it that is in very poor condition (uninhabitable).
I haven't had to log in every time, and there is a copy of the topic at the botton of the screen if you scroll down the screen a little.
