Does anyone know what this means:

"SUBJECT TO RESERVATION SIN CROWN GRANT"
PROPERTY REMARKS:   CROWN GRANT SEE AB12345

Also - does anyone know if mortgages held by the a crown owned corporation are considered crown interests?

Crown corporation mortgages ARE crown interests and survive a tax sale.  so if you win you have to cover the mortgage.

As per the grant reservation.. It is a condition that was applied  during the granting of the land , you will have to actually pull the deed or the referenced document to know what exactly applies, IE it might have a clause against mining or against logging etc. It might also state that the land was granted subject to the new owner building an arena for the town. If it isnt built the land reverts to the crown.

PS the sin is a typo.. Its simply  "in crown grant"
