A quick hello from the wet coast 8^)

hi all, my introduction to "tax sales" was a few years ago -by opening my local paper and seeing a full page add listing all the properties that will be tendered for unpaid taxes. being the inquisitive type (yes i look at the obit's too -might know someone there  ) i scoured down the list and was surprised to find a property in my cul de sac. wow - i yelled to the wife  "someones in trouble"- i read out the address, then it hit me.... hey, that's my address. heheh. i frantically contacted the city and quickly found out it was my neighbor. so sorry for the mistake. whew. 
I'll try not to burn up your bandwidth with stupid questions and spend my time reading the archives. just thought I'd drop a quick line.
