Unfortunately in the Kawartha lakes I want to get a structure that can pass or does not need building code.
In northern Ontario no problem. If you are down my way have some suggestions on how to help you sell it cheaply. We can flip for whoever buys the coffee or beer.
Have do doubt out of this world price, but have to be careful where to use.

Lakeshore Essex County advertised a repeat property that previously never got any bids--January 5, 2007 Tender Amount: $228,593.10, May 5 2010,Tender Amount: $ 408,065.75 no bids. Township is waiting for a sucker to bid 2011--Crown lien $4million. I'm told it's coming up again plus plus $100k+++ added

Council was told Tuesday municipal taxes haven't been paid for at least seven years on a property in a Lakeshore industrial park owned by Roseville Gardens Windsor Ltd.
But the municipal tax arrears of $301,638 pale in comparison to a $3.8-million lien on the property by the provincial Ministry of Finance.
Normally, the town would be able to sell the property to recover its taxes, but the hefty lien is scaring away buyers.
?If we just let it sit, the bill gets higher and higher,? said Mayor Tom Bain.

You can't trust politicians/inspectors, if you build without a permit and no final inspection--townships are known to be mean and have it torn ed down for a manor reason :^(

Tax sales are potentially a high payout / high risk game. Because they deal with property (mainly land) municipal officials are involved. If you don't manage the risk watch out.
What you observe comes as no surprise and there have been several others.
Its like dealing with the finer Greek things in life; Ouzo; Retsina; Mousaka; Baklava and good coffee and music. For guys like me with a Finno-Urgic wife (this guy
also has a related one) originally from the interior of Russia serveral thousand years ago), one of the finest aspects of Greek culture is too dangerous for me to appreciate.
I will leave it to lucky guys like you to enjoy greek culture at its fullest extent; while I deal with dammed Ontario government claims on one of the current tax sales in the system.
If I don't properly allow for it my boss with deal with me in a manner similar to if I appreciate too much the finest aspects of Greek culture.
