I wonder if I am missing a way to make some free money

Seeing as everyone else is in hibernation I started to look for something new. 

Ontario Gazette is always interesting reading. I wonder if there was a way you could make a claim successfully under this section (There are a lot of postings) One sample out of about 10 postings.

The above captioned civil forfeiture proceeding commenced under the Civil Remedies Act has resulted in the sum of $19,052.61 being deposited into a special purpose account.
All individuals or other persons who have suffered pecuniary or nonpecuniary losses (money or non money damages) as a result of the unlawful activity that was the subject of the forfeiture proceeding are entitled to make a claim for compensation.
The Crown, a municipal corporation or a public body that is a member of one of the classes of public bodies prescribed in the regulation that suffered pecuniary losses as a result of the unlawful activity that are expenses incurred in remedying the effects of the unlawful activity are also entitled to make a claim for compensation.

Thumb's up to Dave2. Lone worrier of the board. To make you feel useful or even "proud", I saw your post was printed and held in hands of some people in one of recent big Sales I attended. And I found out, other than your post they held, they were ready to bid million $$ without (knowing) anything else . Congrats, you succeeded in drawing ...crowds.

Got my ass kicked in one of the Port Hope tax sale items this fall allegedly by a neighbor who was buying it for his son or daughter.  While funny thing happened on the way to the new home for the family member.
