There are actually 86 of them on Wolfe Island.

Amherst Island is next and will have about 40 of them when complete.

The way things are going now people are getting used to them and the real estate market seems to be bouncing back where they have become common-place.   Personally I find them a huge distraction, but I suppose I am happy the coal fired generators are gone.

Wolfe island was nice but  is destroyed by these things.  I think I will move to Shelburne instead...

lol.   does not matter where you move in the province  Kathleen WIND has definitely left her mark on Ontario.  The view from pelee island at night is crazy   all you see is the red flashing lights from the main land.

UK passed a law a few years ago that the windmill cannot ruin the view or general landscape...It essentially shut down all onshore .

You pay 1 million pounds for a house with a view of the countryside and a douche sticks that in a field in front.
