If it is the property that was up for tax sale, it definitely does not have a septic.  We did a search with the Health Department and the property up for sale does not have, nor was a septic permit applied for this lot.  Notwithstanding that, the septics were built in the 80's and never did get final approval.  I speculate that either one of the other lot owners is trying to sell, or if it is the tax sale property, the seller is grossly misinformed as to what property they actually own! 

There is also a large rock (much taller than an suv) in between the lots with the septic which would have to be blasted before any construction could take place.  We also checked with the building department and a variance would be required in order to obtain a permit.  It will be very interesting to see how this one plays out!

OOPs, just found two different maps showing the same road and it has a different name on each, so I think we are talking about the same road, and potentially the same property.  There are a number of them on that road that are approximately the same size.  The only difference might be the septic system - which is questionable.
