New Bunswick is a pretty interesting place to get in to the real estate market. I've been going to Bathurst since I was a kid with my parents. Three years ago I looked at some houses when I was there and then kept an eye on the MLS listings over the winter. Two years ago we bought a house down there for $22,000.00. And have been renting it out since. I've gotten interested in tax sales since then. I understand the process in NB to be an auction that you actually have to be there for?? Not to convenient.

Hi RichD,
It seems like PEI and New Brunswick are auctions you need to be present. Not the easy process Ontario has. PEI has a small amount of properties listed every year (New Brunswick has more) but my sense is they wish to keep tax sale properties in the hands of the local public which makes sense. Even a large state such as Texas requires you to be in person with photo ID. Its interesting how the process works in different areas of North America.

Those are karma points. If someone is helpful to you or posts something of interest then give them a smile. If someone is rude than that is where the spite comes in. You can only give out 1 point per person every hour.
