The one Welland property went for an outrageous price of $111,111 which is very high, considering the amount of water damage (about an inch of water throughout) and mold, a complete gut, and the other property went for about $30,000 hope this helps, there were about 27-30 bidding on the first property quite a big turn out. The water damage, I didn't see first hand, it was the talk in the room.

Introduce Yourself / Hey Everyone

     I'm a long time spectator, first time writer.  I want to start off by saying tax sales definitely have their ups and downs, exciting one minute and then often very frustrating after you've spent the time to do your research with driving to a property, title search, execution search, certified cheque, tender package and on the day of the tax sale (cancelled).
     There are a lot of smart and informative people on this forum,  I appreciate and thankyou for the shared advice,experiences and warnings, and hopefully after I get my feet wet with a purchase I'll share mine.  Patience is definitely a requirement for the tax sale process.  All the best.
