Anyone have a land Patent?

I've been reading some of your posts, but I'm not finding all the answers to all my questions.
My number main questions are:
1. If I buy a land tax sales, if it is going for min. bid $10,000, does that mean that I am only paying for the taxes that have accumulated since the foreclosure that the previous owner didn't pay?
2. When I purchase this land for $10,000. Do I own the land? Do I have to continue to pay any more recurring taxes for the land?
3. If I supposedly do own the land but still have to pay taxes for it, how is that owning the land?
4. How do I own the land without having to pay tax (i.e., Land Tax)?
5. Does anyone have an land patent or allodial title (or any title whatsoever) whereby, they do not pay taxes, nor have to get permits to build, dig, or any other childlike treatments from the government, and own the land from the high heaven to the depths of the earth?
6. What are the consequences of a land patent or allodial title?

I googled "land patent or allodial title" and it redirected back your your question on this forum.
to answer one of your questions what ever you bid is pretty much all you have to pay and then you pay the annual taxes every year. yes it sucks but its inevitable.
If you do figure out a way to avoid land taxes can you also find a way for me to get out of this whole death thing as that seems rather unpleasant too.

HAHAHA Well put.
Here is an idea: settle a remote part of Antarctica (there is a little unclaimed land left I think) and instruct your snowy grand-children to claim squatters rights and autonomous statehood somehow

To answer the original poster's questions (although I have the feeling that the OP doesn't understand the basic democratic tax system):
1. If you win for a bid of $10,000, then you pay that amount. The minimum bid ensures that any winning bid covers at least the outstanding taxes.
2. Yes you own the land, and landowners in most countries pay property tax.
3. Paying taxes on property is a fact of life. If you don't like it, then don't buy land. When you buy groceries and pay taxes on them do you still own the groceries?
4. Some places have no property tax on land valued under $50,000 (Bahamas is one). Why the obsession with paying property tax anyways? Most of us are paying at least 5x more in income tax than we are in property tax.
5. You can't just buy land and do anything you want with it. There are good reasons for this. Would you want a neighbour tn be allowed to start a pig farm in his backyard when you live in the city or suburbs? How about if your neighbour built a house with no permit and because of poor electrical work then it burns down along with your house too? Or finally your prize vegetable garden is compromised if your neighbour sells his house and a paving company buys it to mix up their asphalt in the backyard.
I really wouldn't worry about pay property tax that much, it's one of the costs of living in a civilized and developed society. I pay almost $5000/year in taxes on my primary home, but if you add that to my mortgage costs, its still much better than renting a comparable home. Plus that fact that most homes go up in value an average of 4-5% per year.
