Hello Everyone! Thanks for the information on this site.I bought a Tax sale property several years ago. Not sure if I ever received anything other then the tax bill.I find out a LIFE LEASE was never cleared. I assumed the person was dead. This is not the case. They want compensated for the lot from me now.Can I go back and find out what happened in the cities history?Any help or suggestions would be great! Thanks
Isn't that considered a private lien so shouldn't have survived the tax sale in the first place?
I would personally just ignore them and not waste your time on this. If a life lease could survive a tax sale then everyone could just life lease their properties to one of their relatives and stop paying taxes.

, you should note that lawyers are insured so that if they provide any negligent service or advice, there is an insurance company to pick up the tab. The final comment is if you need surgery, do you go to a doctor or do it yourself using often contradictory internet advice?.
