Georgian Bay 09-22 property (Isl)

Anyone have any info on this property other than what is in the municiple package?  Just wondering if it is worth the hassle of making my way up there to look, and paying the $100 for the title search.  Thanks

Yeah even the treasurer hinted I shouldnt waste my time.  She said the owners  have been in contact with her and are trying to come up with the money.

Good information, thank you. Has anyone seen the building? If it still exists? Pictures are a fee years old. Looks like it is legally nonconforming according to zoning.

Or one of the locals wants to scoop it.  If you want a good piece of property you have to work at it.  I have seen a few that were supposed to / going to redeem and surprise surprise they didn't.  Even got a couple myself.  

IF you are going to get the good ones you have to work at it.  Yes my batting average is low on these but you might get some interesting properties if you stick at it.

I think you are right on this one.  I couldn't decide on whether to post or not.  Sometimes I think these posts just drive the prices higher.
This one reminds me of Rideau Lakes 2 years ago. The town said they would redeem...they didn't.

 I Checked out the island property-- access for nearest mainland roads---Hundreds of miles away. You just can't park your car and unload your dingy and paddle to it. Hours and hours  of major BIG boat ride.

Good luck to all of you on this one - I know that a few regulars are out on this one so if the property remains in play, go for it. My guess is that 60-70k will easily take it and that would be a steal. Expect 15 - 20 bids.

Interesting...looks to me to be max of about 10 miles from either Honey Harbour or Penatanguishene...might be dockage closer, but that would take a bit of investigating.  Likely to be redeemed anways....but please don't waste our time with your silliness.      at 50 knots I would be there in about 15 minutes.  PFM could make the trip in 2.

Those pics would have been supplied by the Municipality.  Some municipalities use OTS to distribute their packages....that is the case when they are available on-line from OTS.
