Now Haldimand county has moved their tax sale to mid winter.

I wonder who had the tailgate party at Cayuga last August and as a result gave us a party reputation.  I was so looking forward to mid June (Friday the 13th) and a big gathering at the track.  

Maybe time to look further afield.  How about lobster in March particularly as beef prices hit an all time record lately.

No, wait!  I hadn't reviewed the Haldimand tax sale package when I made my earlier guess.  Perhaps Dave2 is suggesting that a hamburger/Lobster po'boy stand would fit perfectly on that 'Lake Erie Beachfront' parcel.  Covers the reference to Haldimand, beef, Lobster, and tail-gate parties all in one.

The Rip van winkle refers to the delay to update the website or someone
who forgot this is 2014, either case you have to check with the township.  

The reason I posted it is a number of municipalities in the maritimes seem to have a more fixed seasonal time schedule unlike Haldimand County that
obviously does not like us wild tax sale party people going to the track after the sale.

In the maritimes it is commonly a bid in person situation so you can plan your trip and get your lobster.

Don't ignore Halidmand county as they have a pattern I have seen before, after a period of inactivity a new treasurer decided to get the deadbeats.
