Suggests that perhaps the existence of such a photo and the date don't quite align.  Though perhaps it just took them a long time to clean up....

Truly a tragedy.  The loss of life and beer, that is, not the illegitimate photo.

you are correct.  Photography had not been invented then.  Believe it is of a molasses spill in Boston a century later in 1919.

I think I will go enjoy my pint.  Just got my confirmation my deed was registered and in spite of G2020 and Frank's concerns not every tax sale property gets redeemed.  Even post tax sale

right with the quantity but I think my friends can handle more then one.  From Wikpedia:
