One of the most famous Ontario tax sales ever which went all the way to the Supreme Court involved a "Rock Island".

I won rock island.  I should have looked here first, is there something wrong with this little island it looks a a cute little place to get away from it all and go camping. I wonder why there weren't more bidders?   Its assessed at 44,000 and I got it for less than 1/4 of that. Has anyone seen this island as I haven't.

Now I get it too....nice work Jay of Z....I especially like the part where Worldly John is encouraging people to be secretive and camouflaged, maybe I can barge a trailer out to it, I think an ice fishing hut would be a good start to a camping site.  Can you imagine trying to build a skating rink on this.   And a Merry Christmas to all, and to all a Special Nite.

Personally I think John is a little optimistic if he wants to put a structure on it as I understand there is a pretty active cottage association up there.  He needs this to make it work.  (see photo)

Maybe our Moonbeam specialist   has some out of this world connections to see if one might be available.
