Surveyor recommendations?

I know someone that needs a surveyor to prepare a severance of their property. This is in an area just north of Muskoka.

It seems that in certain northern areas it's like a monopoly out there for surveyors and they all charge top dollar compared to areas closer to cities.

If you are north of Muskoka, I found a really reasonable one in North Bay that did some work for me in Temagami a coupla years ago, if interested e-mail me direct, and I will give you his name and number. 

You are right they act like they have a monopoly, and I know surveyors who have travelled there from Hamilton to get the job done faster.   Interestingly enough they seem to work cheaper and faster if you make them think you are a local.  You have to play the game a bit.
