How do I know the size of a property ?

Hi,
New at this.
I find it frustrating when viewing the descriptions that they do not give an estimate of area.
I'm really only interested in large acerage, so how am I to know from looking at the ad whether this is something I should even bother looking into ?
Thanks.

Most of the time the legal description of the property will give both the frontage of the lot as well as the depth. Once in a while they will actually include the acreage, although this is rare.
